Cabins in 3D
Explore the whole bay with a detailed Greystoke cabin study in place. Choose Greystoke for a closer look, or switch off Detailed Greystoke cabin to see the original drone model.
Bay from drone footage; detailed Greystoke cabin from a photo-based study. Dimensions, placement and ground beneath the study are approximate. Trees, water and hidden surfaces can be incomplete.
About this reconstruction
The detailed Greystoke layer comes from the photo-based Blender study, including the main cabin, rear sleeping cabin, covered connection, decks and supports. Its scale and placement were fitted visually to the drone model. Dimensions, hidden surfaces and small ground patches beneath the buildings are estimates; it is not a measured survey. The obsolete solar array is omitted from the study. The comparison switch restores the complete original bay surface.
Five videos were reviewed. The main model uses 278 recovered views from three of those clips, including 76 additional views recovered during a second review of the original video. It contains 250,000 triangles and 43,799 matched points.
Use Expanded model / First pass inside the viewer to compare coverage. More coverage does not mean sharper detail everywhere.
About the cabin update
The expanded pass uses 408 recovered views: all 278 from the previous model, 74 from the new cabin approach, and 56 additional views recovered from older footage. It contains 250,000 triangles and 71,500 matched points.
Cabin-front and nearby shoreline detail improve in places, but this pass omits the second dock and adjacent shore. Use New footage / Previous model inside the viewer to compare. The previous Site & docks model remains available.
About the backyard and path
This independent reconstruction uses 165 recovered views from the forest clip, covering approximately 8.5–78 seconds. Explore the path, clearing, return path and cabin rear. It contains 160,870 triangles and 19,653 matched points.
There are holes and stretched surfaces around vegetation. Scale is uncalibrated, and the model has not been aligned with the shoreline models.
